I used to smoke marijuana myself, for well over 10 years.

I did quit eventually, and for me I think it was a pretty difficult thing to do

But the main reason that pushed me to quit weed was because I had to. The fear of smoking weed finally outweighed the fear of quitting weed. I was pro-active and went all out trying anything, eventually quitting successfully with detoxification.

So trust me, I’m not being rude when I ask, If you smoke weed, Why do you smoke it?

People answer this differently. Some people will say they only smoke for fun and that they are not addicted. While most long time users report that the reason they smoke is because of their cravings for marijuana, and that they are addicted.
